Happy Hippo Bakery will probably always be known for custom cakes. I love being part of birthdays, weddings, showers, and the big milestone moments!
But the shop has more than cakes.

Not every bakery order has to be a custom cake
Custom cakes are wonderful, but they are not always what someone needs.
Sometimes you need a dozen cookies for a family dinner. Sometimes you want a pie for the weekend. Sometimes you want a jar of jam, vanilla extract, or something small from a local bakery without starting a whole custom inquiry.

Cakes are still inquiry-first
Custom cakes still work best through the inquiry form. That gives me the details I need: date, servings, flavor, design direction, pickup/delivery needs, and any allergy notes.
The shop is better for ready-to-order items and simpler products where the options are already listed.
A simple way to support a local bakery
One thing I appreciate so much about local customers is that support does not always have to be a huge order.
A dozen cookies, a pantry item, a pie, a jar of jam, or a bottle of vanilla extract still helps keep the bakery moving. It also gives you a way to bring Happy Hippo into everyday moments, not only big parties.
